Star Wars: Battlefront II was built to please frustrated fans but is it really going to please us.
One of the best things about Star Wars is that this is a massive universe with lots of great content to be had here. What you have to keep in mind about Star Wars Battlefront II is that the game doesn’t focus on multiplayer only, it also features singleplayer this time around.
There are lots of things to like here, starting with the singleplayer story mode. For the first time, this is the type of experience that people always wanted to have, as they get to play as the Empire for the very first time. There’s a new class system to be had in the game as well, and there’s content from all movies, starting with the first ones and ending with the movie that appears this year.
You also have just about all the heroes you want, such as princess Leia, Yoda, Rey, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Han Solo and so on. This just makes the gameplay a lot more fun and interesting, which is exactly what you want to get from this type of experience.
The game removed the need for a season pass, but it did integrate micro transactions. The seasonal structure offered by Overwatch will also be brought in here, with free stuff added periodically by the game. There are also some new heroes like Finn and Captain Phasma that are going to come rather fast and with great results.
Just like the first game, this one also has support for no less than 40 players at once. It’s a tremendous accomplishment and one that does bring in front a really nice multiplayer experience for everyone. There are ship battles, as well as ground based game modes too. All of these add up to bring in front a really enticing and fun way of exploring the game.
The addition of new game modes such as capturing intelligence or items and bringing in team deathmatch from the previous title is a very good idea. This way players can enjoy the content they want and everyone has a very good time. Which, in the end, is exactly what you need.
The graphics are better than ever before and the fact that there are some new locations to explore and lots of cool stuff just makes the experience even more interesting and rewarding for players. It’s just a lot of fun to see these new places and being able to enjoy them is certainly one of the highlights that you can find in here for sure.
Overall, Star Wars Battlefront II is a great improvement over the predecessor. But the fact that it includes loot boxes added in the progression system is a problem, as a lot of customers dislike that. Yet it does go to show that Star Wars Battlefront II will indeed have a lot of content, even if you may end up spending a lot of time or money to unlock everything you want. The game is indeed a ton of fun, so that’s certainly going to factor into the entire experience!
Star Wars Battlefront II release date is November 17th
